Tragic Shooting at Trump Rally: Victims Confirmed Dead, Trump Safe

At least one person has been reported dead following a shooting at a Trump rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday. The incident occurred when shots were fired, and former President Donald Trump was pictured with blood on his face before being rushed off the stage. Mike Valente of WTAE reported that Butler County District Attorney stated one person is believed to be dead, while Donald Trump is confirmed safe.

District Attorney Richard A. Goldinger told ABC News that as of now, one bystander is “confirmed dead,” and possibly a second. He also mentioned that the shooter is dead. President Joe Biden was reportedly briefed on the incident. The chief of communications for the Secret Service provided an update, stating that protective measures have been implemented, and the former president is safe.

The Trump campaign issued a statement saying that Trump “is fine” after images showed blood on the former president’s face. The campaign thanked law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act and confirmed that Trump is being checked out at a local medical facility. According to a source in Pennsylvania law enforcement, the shooter who attempted to assassinate President Trump has been killed by Pennsylvania State Police.
