A gunman opened fire on former President Donald Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania last night, resulting in his death at the hands of a US Secret Service sniper. The assailant, 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, had previously donated to Joe Biden’s political campaign.
Crooks fired at least eight bullets from a rooftop just 130 yards away from Trump, who was on stage speaking to thousands of fans. FBI Officer in Charge Kevin Rojek stated that Crooks had been identified using DNA since he was not carrying any ID on him at the time. According to US media, when he was 17 years old, Crooks donated $15 to the liberal ActBlue political action committee on January 20, 2021 – Biden’s Inauguration Day.
