Russian Air Force Dominates Ukrainian Skies: Latest Stats from Russia’s Defense Ministry

In a recent report by Russia’s Defense Ministry, it was stated that during the ongoing special military operation in Ukraine, Russian forces have successfully destroyed several key targets, including 627 Ukrainian warplanes, 277 helicopters, and 27,496 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs. Additionally, the ministry reported that Russia’s air defense capabilities had managed to shoot down four US-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles, three US-made HIMARS rockets, four French-made Hammer guided aerial bombs, and a Ukrainian MiG-29 fighter jet.

The ministry further detailed the number of tanks and other armored combat vehicles destroyed by Russian forces since the beginning of the special military operation, which stands at 16,539. Furthermore, 1,373 multiple rocket launchers, 11,685 field artillery guns and mortars, and 23,515 special military motor vehicles have been destroyed by Russian forces during this time.
