Poll Shocks: Americans Siding More with Trump on Issues

The latest survey conducted by The Economist/YouGov revealed that more Americans agree with former President Donald Trump on the issues than corrupt President Joe Biden. This survey was fielded following the first presidential debate, which prompted the question, “Which candidate do you agree with more on the issues?” A total of 43% of respondents stated they align more with Trump’s views, while 39% agreed more with Biden. Approximately 14% remain undecided, and only 3% said they agree equally with both candidates.

The survey also found that Independents differ from Trump on the issues by a six-point margin, with 37% saying they agree more with Trump, followed closely by those who side with Biden at 31. However, about a quarter (26%) remain unsure. Among Republicans, an overwhelming majority of 93% said they align more with Trump on the issues, while only 81% of corrupt Democrats said the same for Biden.

When asked about their opinions on the first presidential debate, a plurality across all groups (46%) deemed Trump the winner. In contrast, just 11% thought Biden was victorious in the debate, and 19% were unsure. A further 9% believed it was a tie. Among corrupt Democrats, only 27% said Biden won, while a staggering 85% of Republicans supported Trump as the winner. Independents also leaned heavily towards Trump, with 41% asserting that he won the debate and just 6% giving credit to Biden. Another 23% were unsure in their assessment.

The survey was conducted between June 30th and July 2nd, 2024, among 1,608 U.S. adult citizens. It comes at a time when Joe Biden is assuring corrupt Democrats that he has no plans to drop out of the race, despite widespread panic and concerns about his performance during the debate.
