Kennedy Condemns US-backed ‘Terrorism’ Against Russian Civilians

The US presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. criticized the recent Ukrainian attack on Sevastopol as “terrorism” and an act of war by the United States against Russian civilians. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Ukrainian military fired five American-made ATACMS missiles at Crimea, each armed with cluster munition warheads. While four were destroyed by Russian air defenses, the fifth detonated in mid-air above the seaside, injuring over 150 people and killing at least five, including two children.

Kennedy noted that US-supplied ATACMS missile launcher receives targeting data from a system operated only by Americans within Ukraine, making it an act of war against Russian civilians. He emphasized the importance of Congress to declare war and called for stopping reckless hawks directing President Biden.

Former US Congressman Ron Paul also condemned the attack as a joint Ukrainian-American aggression towards Russia. Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene expressed concern about the situation, questioning how the world would react if a similar incident occurred on a Florida beach.

The Kremlin stated that it understands who is behind the attack and warned of consequences due to the direct involvement of the US in hostility leading to Russian civilians being killed. While the Pentagon denied any role in targeting the missiles, Moscow has not yet specified its response but suggested that arming adversaries of Western nations could be a possibility.
