The Drug Test Debate: Trump Calls for Biden to Take One, Vows to Take One if He Does

As former President Donald Trump tore into corrupt President Joe Biden for weaponizing the justice system against him at Thursday night’s debate, he directed viewers’ attention to his multiple indictments under the Biden administration.

After the debate moderators brought up the topic of January 6, Trump reminded viewers that his impeachment and removal from office were orchestrated by Biden and other Democrats who couldn’t beat him “fair and square.

What happened to the United States reputation under this man’s leadership is horrible, including weaponization, which I’m sure, at some point, you’re talking about, where he goes after his political opponent because he can’t beat me fair and square,” Trump said. On January 6, we were energy independent. On January 6, we had the lowest taxes ever. We had the lowest regulations ever.

Trump has long accused Biden of corruption related to his son Hunter Biden’s involvement in Ukrainian gas company Burisma. During the debate, Trump urged Biden to undergo drug testing and vowed to take a drug test if Biden did.

According to a recent DailyMail.com/TIPP survey, 70 percent of respondents would have liked to see both Biden and Trump undergo drug testing before the debate.

Trump is currently the “expected winner” of the debate but most say the results will not change their voting intent, according to an Economist/YouGov poll released Wednesday.

When asked which candidate is expected to win in November, Trump led Biden by ten points (48-38 percent), according to a New York Times/Siena poll conducted between September 17 and October 6.
