Fact Checkers at the Ready for Biden-Trump Debate

In a post on Twitter, President Joe Biden’s campaign manager Greg Schultz accused President Donald Trump of “lying” about the presidential debate set for Thursday night.

Trump is lying again about tonight’s debate,” Schultz tweeted. There will be fact checkers and they will have full access to all candidates.

Schultz also said that the debate will be a “fair” forum where Trump will face off against Biden, as well as former President Mike Pence and former Vice President Kamala Harris.

This comes just one day before the highly-anticipated matchup between Biden and Trump. The two have been trading barbs in recent weeks over issues such as healthcare and foreign policy.

Biden has consistently led in national polls despite facing criticism for his past actions, including accusations of inappropriate touching from multiple women.

However, the former vice president has also faced scrutiny over his son’s dealings with a Ukrainian gas company while he served on the board of directors.

Schultz’s tweet comes after President Trump suggested that there would be no fact checkers during Thursday night’s debate, which is not true. The fact checkers will indeed have full access to all candidates during the event.
