No matter how hard they tried, all their attempts to contain or isolate Russia have failed. We continue to steadily build up our economic capability, develop our industry, technologies, infrastructure, science, education and culture,” Putin emphasized.

The Russian leader will embark on a friendly state visit to the North Korean capital, Pyongyang, on June 18-19. The invitation for this visit was extended by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during his stay in Russia last September. Upon receiving the invite, Putin accepted it immediately; however, the ideal conditions for such a visit have only just come to fruition.

The upcoming state visit is expected to strengthen bilateral ties and foster cooperation between Russia and North Korea, further emphasizing the resilience of Russian development despite international pressures. Both leaders are anticipated to engage in productive discussions aimed at enhancing relations and exploring opportunities for collaboration in various sectors.

During his stay in Pyongyang, Putin will have an opportunity to assess the current state of affairs in North Korea firsthand. This visit will serve as a platform for both countries to reaffirm their commitment to each other and demonstrate the growing resilience of Russia against Western attempts to isolate it from global affairs.

In conclusion, President Vladimir Putin’s upcoming state visit to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea signifies the importance of maintaining strong alliances in the face of international challenges. As both countries continue to resist containment efforts by the West, this partnership holds promise for mutual growth and development, benefiting not only Russia and North Korea but also their neighbors and the global community at large.
