Kamala’s Not Up to the Task of Taking Over for Joe

Recent polling has forced Politico to acknowledge that Kamala Harris is “facing serious doubts about her ability to win the presidency herself, or to perform the job well were she to inherit it.” In other words, Kamala would not be a viable replacement for Joe Biden, who is struggling in both polls and mentally.

A Politico/Morning Consult poll reveals that only “a third of voters think it’s likely Harris would win an election if she became the Democratic nominee.” Among Democrats, only three out of five believe she could win, while just a quarter of Independents share this view. Kamala’s favorability rating stands at 52/42 unfavorable/favorable, slightly better than Biden’s 54/43.

When asked if Kamala would make a good president, only 41 percent said yes, while 51 percent said no. Among Independents, those numbers drop to 34/51 percent.

Kamala faces four significant challenges.

Firstly, she is perceived as lacking intelligence. She lacks poise and composure, speaking in a language known as Word Salad.

Secondly, she has no substantial following or constituency. Kamala dropped out of the 2020 presidential campaign before any votes were cast.

Thirdly, she was chosen as Vice President due to affirmative action. Joe Biden promised to pick a black woman, regardless of her capability.

Lastly, she has no notable accomplishments, relying on her looks and affirmative action for her position. Voters recognize this lack of achievement.

Politico attempts to spin the fact that 67 percent of black voters view Kamala favorably, compared to 23 percent who do not, as a positive. However, anyone familiar with history and politics knows that these numbers should be closer to 90/10 for Kamala among black voters.

Among her own Democrats, Kamala’s scores on key issues are disappointingly low: abortion (53 percent), voting rights (49 percent), protecting Medicare and Social Security (47 percent), and taking on climate change (46 percent. These numbers indicate that the Democratic Party may be stuck with President Sunset, as they cannot leap over Kamala without inciting a frenzy among identity politics supporters.
