Identical parrots trash-talk Trump in Democratic ad

The unmistakable echo of new Democrat talking points is reverberating across the political landscape, as party loyalists dutifully repeat the same points made by actress Mia Farrow and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D) in their separate public attacks on former President Donald Trump. These shared points include Trump “whining”, claims that “we have the strongest economy in the world”, and assertions that “we are beating China.

Mia Farrow laid out these commonalities in a recent X post. Trump should quit whining,” she wrote, adding that it is “dumb and obnoxious and a lie.” She continued, stating “We have the strongest economy in the world. We are producing more energy than any other country. Economically we are beating China big time. We have been recovering from the global recession faster than anywhere else. We have the greatest military in the world. More Americans are working than ever before. God bless America.

Shapiro mirrored Farrow’s statements almost verbatim when he appeared on MSNBC’s Inside show, saying “All they [voters] hear from Donald Trump is a whole bunch of whining about this country. I think Donald Trump’s got to quit whining, go to quit trying to divide us…We are producing more energy than anyone before in this nation. We have the strongest economy in the world and we are beating China for the first time in decades. More people went to work this morning in America than any other time in our nation’s history.

The exact meaning of these politicians’ statement that “we are beating China” remains unclear, given that under President Joe Biden’s administration, China has been expanding its sphere of influence globally, particularly in Africa and South America. Furthermore, China is making significant strides in its push to have the yuan replace the dollar as the world’s reserve currency.
