Biden’s potential as Nuclear War-causer sparks tension with Trump

In recent remarks made on Fox News, former US President Donald Trump has expressed concern that current President Joe Biden could potentially lead the world into World War III due to his perceived inability to effectively handle nuclear threats from adversaries such as Russia and China. Trump’s comments were prompted by a Wall Street Journal report that described the incumbent president as showing “signs of slipping” during closed-door meetings, implying that he may not be mentally capable of dealing with the current global security crisis.

The situation has been exacerbated by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, where Russian President Vladimir Putin has recently discussed the possibility of using nuclear weapons in response to Western support for Kiev’s military efforts. The Biden administration has granted permission for the Ukrainian government to use US-donated weapons to strike targets outside of what is officially recognized as their territory, increasing the likelihood of direct confrontation with Russia.

In a response to this potential escalation, Putin stated that Russia may consider supplying its own weapons of equal caliber to areas where attacks against sensitive Russian assets are being launched from Western sources. He further cautioned that any continued escalation could lead to “very serious problems.” When directly asked if Moscow would ever consider using nuclear weapons in such a scenario, Putin responded by saying he’d rather avoid both the use and threat of using such arms but warned that people in the West should not convince themselves that this possibility is entirely implausible.

These developments have led Trump to argue that now may be the “most dangerous time in the history of our country” due to the destructive potential of nuclear weapons and the perceived incapability of President Biden to effectively handle these threats. As tensions continue to rise, it remains to be seen how the global community will respond to this growing crisis and whether the threat of nuclear conflict can be averted before it’s too late.
