Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC) recently stated that President Joe Biden appeared to be under the influence of drugs during his State of the Union Address earlier this year, and claimed to have evidence supporting this claim. In an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, Murphy, who is also a practicing urologist, argued that Biden must have taken some kind of medication in order to maintain his stamina throughout the lengthy speech.
During their conversation, Bartiromo asked Murphy to explain his allegations further, particularly regarding what he meant by “jacked up” at the State of the Union. In response, Murphy suggested that someone had administered a substance to help Biden sustain the energy and vigor required for such an extended speaking engagement. He went on to add that this behavior was not characteristic of Joe Biden and expressed his belief that there may be evidence to support his claim.
Murphy continued by discussing the importance of President Trump maintaining his composure and acting presidential during debates, emphasizing the need for him to highlight the country’s decline under the previous administration while also showcasing Trump’s accomplishments. He acknowledged Trump’s tendency to deviate from the script at times but expressed confidence in the president’s ability to remain focused when necessary.
Bartiramo then asked Murphy to elaborate on his claim that Biden was “jacked up” during the State of the Union, specifically whether this referred to a medication or some other substance. Murphy reiterated his belief that something had been administered to help the 82-year-old president maintain his energy and performance levels throughout the event. He cited a recent photograph of Biden without makeup as evidence for his claim, pointing out the visible signs of aging and previous facial surgery.
Murphy expressed concerns about the potential manipulation of President Biden by the Democratic Party, suggesting that pharmacological interventions may be playing a role in maintaining the illusion of presidential competence. Bartiromo expressed interest in seeing more evidence to support these claims, calling them compelling and worthy of further investigation.
Rep. Greg Murphy is not alone in his suspicions regarding President Biden’s physical and mental capabilities. Former President Donald Trump has also questioned the president’s ability to perform without the aid of some unknown substance, even suggesting that a drug test be administered.
