Romney slams Biden’s ‘gaffe-prone’ record in heated interview

Utah Republican Senator Mitt Romney recently stated that former President Donald Trump was more effective at handling the ongoing border crisis than current President Joe Biden.

During an exclusive MSNBC interview, Romney argued that while people have been vocal about the issue for years, nothing has been done to address it under Biden’s administration.

Romney further criticized the current president, stating that Trump may benefit from Biden’s failure to secure the border, as it worked in his favor during the 2016 election and is expected to do so again.

The senator expressed concern over political polarization in America and questioned how President Biden would be able to reunify the country.

Romney emphasized the importance of telling the truth to bring people together and address real challenges.

The interview also touched on inflation and rising prices, with Romney admitting that it was not a problem when Trump was president.

He criticized Biden for not taking any significant action to tackle the issue.

The discussion ended with a comparison between Trump’s fundraising in April and Biden’s reelection campaign cash flow.

Trump and the Republican National Committee raised $76 million in April, compared to the $51 million raised by Biden and the Democratic National Committee.

Although Biden’s campaign reported having $192 million in cash at the end of last month, which is a record for any Democratic candidate, it has been spending funds as quickly as they are being raised, according to The Associated Press.

Looking ahead, both parties have significant fundraisers planned, with Trump’s campaign hosting events featuring influential individuals and Hollywood stars, while Biden’s campaign focuses on major Hollywood fundraisers involving celebrities like George Clooney and Julia Roberts.
