Trump Taps Sen. Biden for VP? A First Look at the Possibility and Its Challenges

A Republican senator recently dropped a major hint during a Newsmax TV interview that former President Donald Trump may potentially pick him as his running mate and future vice president.

The senator, who had previously run for the 2024 GOP nomination but later endorsed Trump after dropping out of the race, responded to the host’s suggestion that he might debate Senator Tim Scott by saying “We’ll have to wait and see.

In a separate interview with host Trey Gowdy, the senator announced his engagement to his longtime girlfriend, Mindy Noce.

He described the proposal as one of the most significant moments in his life, comparable to the day he converted to Christianity.

The couple first met during a post-church Bible study group.

The senator has made several appearances with Trump since endorsing him.

Most recently, they appeared together at a rally in New Hampshire, where the senator emphasized the importance of unity within the Republican party to ensure a strong challenge against current President Joe Biden.

Other former GOP candidates have also rallied around Trump, including North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum and biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
