Biden Calls Out Trump’s Debate Challenge: ‘Ill Take You Anywhere

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump continue to spar over the possibility of debating each other.

The exchange started when President Biden told radio personality Howard Stern that he would debate the former president, which prompted Trump to call him out on his Truth Social account.

Trump proposed they have a debate at the courthouse that very evening.

During a ceremony for the WNBA champions, The Las Vegas Aces, President Biden was asked whether he would indeed debate Trump.

He responded by saying “Set it up,” implying that he would be willing to go through with the proposed debates.

The Commission on Presidential Debates has not shown any interest in changing its schedule to accommodate earlier debates, as some states have already begun early voting.

The Commission’s criteria will be applied in September, after which invitations to debates will be extended to qualifying candidates.

Before Trump’s recent call for a debate, President Biden and his campaign were noncommittal about debating Trump, despite the former president having extended an invitation for them to do so in March.

In that letter, Trump stated he would debate “anytime, anywhere, anyplace.
